Reminder:  Our next crew meeting is on Monday, August 29^th  - 7:30 at the church.  We have a lot to cover.  Judy will be joining us to go over info about Woods N Water so those of you that have committed to helping please try to be there.  If you have not already committed but want to attend and help out I’m sure there is a station that you can assist with.  Remember the dates are Sept 30^th through Oct 2^nd.  I have Sean doing Dance, David and Brittany doing Mountain Biking, Andrew and Sarah doing the raft race, and I’ll be doing camp cooking. (Beth – if you want to help with this station that would be great!) 

Other business items we need to focus on for Monday are the Popcorn Sale and our schedule for the Fall/Winter.  In our meetings we will start off with our leadership training and it was suggested that we follow up with first aide training after that.  I’m looking for Venture events available in the coming months throughout our area and the surrounding areas.  I’m also following up on the Adopt A Highway project.  

Andrew – If there are any Boy Scout Troop 555 trips or events that we might want to partner on please let us know.  Sean – if you could follow up with your Boy Scout troop to see if they have set the date and have any details about their winter ski trip that would be great.
